Cayla graduated from Moore College of Art & Design, receiving a BFA in illustration; she also holds an MS in Art Therapy from Holy Family University. Throughout her career, she has worked in several fields – interning at Kathy Davis Studios (a greeting card company) and working at a local animation studio as an animation production assistant. She has also worked at a local community college with a traveling art museum program, bringing art to students across Bucks County. Cayla is currently a full-time professor at Cairn University teaching a variety of traditional and digital visual art courses.

Her varied experiences in the art industry have given her a plethora of inspiration and experience that she endeavors to apply to each project that she works on. In her freelance career, she has had the opportunity to work with a variety of different clients including:

– Holy Family University, Values Magazine
– Mary Jane Martin (author)
– James E. Young (author)

She resides in her hometown of Bucks County, Pennsylvania and when she isn’t in her studio she can be found having adventures with her overgrown dogs Atticus and Apollo.
